Chris Gilman
Director of Asset and Property Management, Multifamily
As the Director of Asset and Property Management for Dunbar, Chris manages and oversees the financial and business operational aspects of Dunbar’s Multifamily assets. His responsibilities include oversight of our in-house property management group, implementation of quality control and operating standards, ensuring renovation projects meet budgetary and quality standards, preparing and analyzing property level financials, assisting with monthly investor updates and due diligence, and overall business plan execution.
Chris joined Dunbar with over 8 years of multifamily property management, having managed large maintenance and leasing teams, over 800 multifamily units and over 20,000 square feet of adjoining retail space. His broad knowledge base of the multifamily industry includes experience in leasing, resident retention, financial reporting, market analysis, capital improvement projects, vendor relationship management, pricing analysis, property maintenance, with profit and loss responsibility.
Prior to joining Dunbar, Chris was a Sr. Community Manager for AvalonBay Communities. He was a Regional Sr. Sales Leader for the Pacific Northwest providing feedback on key national sales initiatives and was responsible for the implementation of regional sales training for new associates. Chris graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from San Diego State University.
