As Dunbar’s controller, Wai handles and oversees all the accounting operations for the company. His responsibilities include cash management, production of financial reports, and oversight of payments and cash receipts for all of Dunbar’s investments. Wai also works with asset managers and third-party managers to prepare monthly and quarterly reports for investors and lenders.

Prior to joining Dunbar Real Estate Investment, Wai worked for various entrepreneurial real estate development and property management firms in the Greater Los Angeles area.  He has 25+ years of experience in the real estate industry handling the accounting for commercial properties, multi-family properties, single family homes, land developments and mobile home communities.  His most recent role was as a Controller for a local firm overseeing $3 billion assets under management consisting of 40 mobile home communities and 12 apartment complexes.

Wai holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California and an MBA from the University of California, Irvine.
